Marsupial Bino Harness Pistol Holster - Safety

Do you conceal carry at all? I point this thing at my balls all the time. Thankfully the good Lord blessed me with a brain and critical thinking skills so I don't have to blindly apply rules to every aspect of my life--although that would be easier.
Your balls. Your problem. You should never have a gun pointed at anyone else . Let me accidentally point my Glock at one of your kids and let's see how your critical thinking kicks in.

We had this exact discussion in elk camp this year after I stared right down the barrel of a 1911 for the second time. It ain't cool and I told the guy I was hunting with that.
No different than the time I was in line at quick trip and the guy in front of me has double shoulder holsters and both barrels pointed right at me. It's honestly a crime.

I use a Marsupial style holster when I take my kids fishing.

But you threaten my kids or family and I will end you.

I considered one of those holsters, but realized there was no way I’d be comfortable hunting with my son while wearing it.

I don’t think any of us would ever point an empty rifle at our hunting partners, let alone one with a round in the chamber and on safe even if the gun were something like a Blaser with a de-cocker. Not sure why it’s different for pistols.

The cloth style holsters I would feel uncomfortable, yes. But a kydex one like a Razco or GunfightersInc Kenai? No I wouldn't feel the same way.

I use a pants belt hip holster for a Glock 20, Simply Rugged I believe is the brand, and it works fine with or without a pack. When wearing my pack, the pack belt rides slightly above and inside the gun. This way I don't lose access to the gun if I take my pack off for a break. A buddy tried a Kenai chest holster last year and we all hated that thing. Much rather have the gun on my hip.

I was a Leo firearms and tactical instructor for 24 years. Any carry position that points it at others is idiotic. We banned horizontal carry shoulder holsters for the same reasons. People in the office didn’t like a gun pointed at them no matter how “safe” the holster was it broke the cardinal safety rule of not pointing your gun at anything you don’t want destroy.

We approved them for limited applications that made sense, like sitting a car on surveillance.

I like belt and the chest carry muzzle down woods holster.
