March- Why not?

I am really having a hard time pulling the trigger on a March. If you had one why did you go away from it? What did you replace it with? I have a ZCO420 and it’s amazing but boy is it big on a hunting rig. Help!!!

This is a field evaluation on the March FX 1.5-15x42mm, mil/mil scope. It was sent to Ryan for the eval by a forum member.


The scope and weight:







Turrets:

10 mil per rev, zero stop, revolution indicated, and locking-



Shuriken lock on elevation and windage- rotate the top part and the turrets locks at any setting, rotate it back and it spins freely. If you look close- white mean unpacked, red on windage means locked.





Reticle: DR-TR2B


This scope is a dual focal plane optic.

1.5x is a nice and thick...

This is a field evaluation of the March FX 4.5-28x52mm FFP scope. This scope was sent to Ryan Avery for an evaluation. It was personally purchased. The ammunition used was my personal purchased 175gr SMK. The baseline 20 round group with the lot of ammunition was 1.3” at 100 yards.


The scope:







Turrets:

Elevation turret is exposed, revolution indicated, 10 mils per rev, and has a zero stop/set. Windage is capped, and revolution indicated.

What's the application and your criteria?

In terms of durable scopes evaluated here on the Slide, there's little you can't do between the SWFA fixed 6, 3-9, 3-15 and 5-20, the LRHS/LRTS lines, Maven RS 1.2, the Minox ZP5, and Nightforces ... not to mention the new RokScope.

Following as I’ve wondered the same. I’ve got a 420 and it’s been perfect. Lots of big bumps and no shift in zero. Not saying it won’t happen but great for me
