Man cave ideas. Let's see them.

I just recently did exactly what you are planning. Several years ago, I built a metal building with a shop in the front and a horse barn in the back. The shop ended up being nothing but junk storage so I decided to build a man cave there. It is about 36'x30' and has a concrete floor. One thing that I would recommend is having some rough cut boards installed on one (or more) of the walls vertically. It gives it the rustic look of an old barn and hanging deer and elk mounts on this wall looks great. I added a bar in the corner. When we put up sheet rock, the span across the room was too long and the contractor had to put a long structural beam in the middle of the ceiling. This beam was boxed in with rough cut boards and has two vertical columns supporting the beam. He boxed in these columns in rough cut boards as well. All the wood gives it a more rustic feel.

I also added a closet in one corner for most of my hunting clothing and gear. You can never have too much storage. I put in a gun safe and a refrigerator and a large screen tv. It also has central heat/AC. I found an antler chandelier to hang over the bar with lights that looks pretty cool. I have duck mounts and whitetail euro mounts hanging from the beams. I had the concrete floor painted which looks good.
Sounds awesome. We want pics, man.
