Very cool! How did you come up with the idea?!

Well, I knew there were magnets in the arm of the MS, and I knew that the arm was too far away from the bullet path with the silencer attached, so I thought it was worth a try.

Has anyone been able to confirm the accuracy of the readings? I’m in the market for a chrono and will be shooting suppressed so this would save me a ton of $ compared to needing to buy the V3 instead of sported.

I tried the magnet hack and blew the magnets off at all different heights. Any tips or tricks to this hack?

All I can say is to try the ones I showed in the pics, from Harbor Freight. I haven't blown any off yet after a couple hundred rounds.

I have one and that's pretty slick. I would think that after a few shots the magnets would move or get blown off from the expelling gas velocity.
