Magnetospeed Sport - work with supressor?

I have a magnetospeed sport and I just I finished putting together a 7 PRC. I have a DD enticer LTI on it and curious from those with experience, will it work with the magnetospeed sporter? Seems like it will move the magnet too far from the bullet path?

It’s 30+ min for me to my range so I can’t walk out and just try it otherwise I wouldn’t ask

It works on mine if you turn the sensitivity to high

Mine works on a Silencerco harvester Evo when sensitivity is turned to high

I have the cheaper Sporter version and it did not work.

High sensitivity worked for me. You can also add some small (7mmish) neodymium magnets to the magnets on the bayonet.

Tested this over the weekend. On Hi 2 sensitivity, mine worked fine mounted on suppressor.

I love the MS chrono, as I could count on one hand the number of times it didn't register a reading, after hundreds and hundreds of rounds fired through it. We all know the Sporter doesn't work with suppressors, as the bullet path winds up being too far from the magnets on the bayonet...

Didn’t work on a 1.75” diameter can using Magnetospeed Sporter. I did not try to add magnets.
