Talked to my sister this morning and she didn't suggest the Evansville area. Claims that it is a "bedroom community" whatever that means as it is close to both Janesville and Madison and a bit pricier than other areas. She suggested Green County to the west or even Southern Dane county south of Fitchburg. It may be a bit far but New Glarus is a nice place.

You mentioned (or at least thought so) about a rotation around different clinics perhaps, and not just the UW Hospital. The UW-TAC is on the east side, as well as several clinics. Don't need to travel far to get into Columbia county to the north/northeast. Would suggest some of those areas as well (Lodi, Columbus, Pardeeville).

Yes, that's about right. My sister lives in Evansville.

What is the availability of the reloading supplies and such?

Check out Recobs, as others have mentioned. I live in Black Earth—the creek gets hammered but there is plenty of great fishing in the Driftless Area. Lots of outdoor recreation all over WI including close to Madison. UW Hospital is a great place to work.
