LS Wild Suppressor Covers

I had a chance today to try out my 2 new covers from LS Wild. I gotta say, I am really impressed. My 300 gets mirage after 3-4 shots typically. Today I shot 9 shots in less than 2 minutes and no mirage.
I noticed no discernible difference in performance over my other cover I typically use on my 6.5 as well. The weight savings with no real noticeable performance decrease is fantastic! Highly recommend these covers. Nice work @hereinaz

Tried my cover out on my Gunwerks 8ight while shooting my 22 Creedmoor. Worked great, no slipping issues. I was shooting 5 round groups fairly quickly (maybe 5 min between) so I did start to get some mirage later on. Not a huge issue - I should have brought 2 more rifles to alternate rather than just one.

Overall impressed and will be ordering another for my TBAC 338 Ultra.

Dangit, I should have charged more!

But seriously, thanks. I know we could have charged more, we are by far the least expensive solution. We wanted to make it affordable and charge a fair price.

It’s nice to have someone recognize it.

Yeah man, you should charge more. Mine has not shown up yet (Edit: maybe i didn't complete the transaction like i thought? will confirm) but it seems like they'd be a bargain still at a 50% price hike.

Hush your mouth. Let me get mine before we start encouraging him to raise prices.

If you didn’t get yours, PM me.

We’ll run them at this price for a while, but they may go up if the numbers don’t crunch as we see the volume over time.

We are taking orders for the covers again. Thanks for your patience. We expect that all will ship inside 5 business days. My partner is back from his hunt, and should be caught up from orders I missed last week and also shipping the barrel orders the next couple of days.

Placed order for covers for 2 cans I don’t even have in possession yet, DD Wolf Hunter and Nomad Ti XC. Hoping the cans come through soon, 14 days in jail.

I like the orange option. You have a few sizes listed for the AB raptors (1.6, 1.65, 1.7 depending on baffle count and reflex or not) and there were some comments about tweaking them to fit better, is the chart accurate or are the different diameters a carry over from trying different sizes on orders?

TLDR what size is best for a raptor 8? ;)

Ordered one for a scythe and nomad 30. Anyone know how much grip they have on the can if they get stuck on a muzzle device?
What do you mean by "a muzzle device"? I'm trying to picture it.

The inside is a carborized felt, and it slides fairly well. It is the stretch in the outer nylon cover that causes grip. It won't slip forward because we sew a tiny pinch of fabric in the back--it physically can't go forward.

Chart should be all 1.7" diameter for AB Raptor. Thanks for the heads up, I will change it.

As for the improvement, they fall in the "1.6 size" that works with other similar diameter cans. But, because of the magical ribs, it is like having to slide the cover onto the suppresser every time you hit a rib. I went to 1.7" which is fine because the ribs allow for more friction to keep it from sliding.

If anyone ordered an AB with 1.6, I will change it to 1.7 when I make the production schedule.

So go ahead and order with 1.7". I haven't been able to find an easy way to make a dropdown with the current store platform we are using.

I will be switching platforms soon, so didn't want to invest too much time into making this one work.

I run the griffin taper mounts and they get semi carbon locked sometimes. Takes a good grip and snap twist to break the taper loose. Just curious how easily the cover will spin on the suppressor tube.
