I've had a pair of pronghorns for about ten years and they are still kicking. But do to my lack of leather care they are seriously cracked, and leak. While I still wear them a lot, (they have got to have over 500 miles on them) I wouldn't wear them if it's wet or with dew. I'm going to take way better care for my next pair of boots so I don't mind spending $300 if they last another ten years.

I was able to get moosejaw to order the Tibets so I can try them on. They are definitely stiff but I like it. They fit my foot perfect. The deciding factor was if they would price match shoes.com, upon asking, the lady said that is one of their sister companies and they would price match. So that brought them down to $369. Then if you go on the website they offer 20% but that discount doesn't apply to Lowa, so when you call shoes.com they will offer you 15% off. Well I again told the lady about it and she said yeah absolutely! So I got them out the door with taxes for $333 Not bad for a $400 boot.
