Leupold VX5-HD 1x6 illuminated. I have had one for several years on my pig hunting gun. Love the 30mm tube pure 1X and cant beat the simple duplex reticle with illuminated dot. Only con is it ain’t cheap.

On my Winchester 94 in 32 ws I have a Burris fast fire 3. I basically set this up for the same reason as you in tight timber hunting and there’s a lot to like about this.

The biggest con is the three MOA dot for shots to 200, followed by multiple dots would be a great feature. Still if 100 yards and under are the norm - This will be what I stick with.

A higher probability of longer shots shots, a then trijcon 1-4 in either credo or accupoint, followed by the swfa 1-4. The later has a useful reticle for quick hold over.

Really appreciate all the input everyone! Lots of good info in these replies.

I ended up going with a Leupold Mark4HD 1-4.5x. Found a great deal that was priced at the Mark3HD price.

Arrives tomorrow. Excited to try it out.
