What’s a good option for a super low lumen headlamp for walking in to my stand?

I have both of these.

This one has a rotating focus wheel and an ultra low "reading" setting which works well going to a stand. Also has battery level indicator which is nice. The focus wheel really cuts down on any peripheral illumination.

This one is very light weight. Has spot or flood setting (not as focused as the HL40) and ultra low brightness level. Also has the battery power level indicator. Both lights are nice and have long battery life.

I just run a bushnell bloodtracker from walmart. Has a red light, blue light, and low light options for either $19 or $29 I forget

I found this Nebo Mycro (Green LED) in a local bait shop (about $25), and it seems to work really well - USB rechargeable so you can charge it in your truck on your way to hunt. Super small and lightweight - and human eyes "see" more light from a green LED than a red one.

Costco used to sell these guys in a 2-pack for like $25. I had gotten a couple packs - for dad, for me, etc. We use em duck hunting, night fishing, deer hunting, working on the car, etc. My wife uses Energizer brand yes, she has at least 2 headlamps.

Have 2 multi, blister packs of Energizer head lamps I got on sale for when these Coast versions or her Energizers fail/get lost/batteries leak/etc. Not gonna spend more than $20 on something I might step on and break, drop in the ocean, or let the kids borrow and they disappear...

Never noticed the lights scaring deer or hogs or such. Watched a buddy of mine walk about 400-500 yards towards me (I was on a hill) along a powerline road and had trouble following his light - he had it on low and pointed at the ground. Don't overthink this stuff. Scent means more when it comes to deer hunting.

Another option is to buy adhesive vinyl film in red or green color and keep adding vinyl patches over the lense until it's dark enough. It's an inexpensive way to turn any white headlamp or flashlight to green or red. Just be careful if the bulbs get super hot and the vinyl can melt.

I'll second the petzel tikka. There's $30 so you can buy a spare in case you misplace one like I do every season.

Surefire Minimus it is fully dimmable and also comes with a red filter.

I use a black diamond headlight, but on the red setting. Works well!

Dudley has some that clip to the bill of your baseball hat, they work well should you be wearing a hat.
