Good point, if it dies when hiking in the dark I am screwed.I tend toward minimalism and still prefer battery powered. I don’t like having to keep track of battery banks, cords etc. Two headlamps and a set of spare batteries and I won’t be left hanging in the dark with a battery in need of charging. In camp at night I have enough to do getting fed, organizing and keeping my phone up let alone all the other electronics and do-dads that guys are screwing around with these days.
What is your reasoning on AA vs AAA?Any good light AA headlamps? I do not want rechargeable or triple a batteries.
Not much more quick, reliable or easy than carrying two aaa headlamps and one spare set of battery’s.I tend toward minimalism and still prefer battery powered. ...other than the actual performance of said headlamps? Not much more quick, reliable or easy than carrying two aaa headlamps and one spare set of batteries.
