Love how we're evolving

I run a lot of gear. Mostly because I drop it, it falls, and I have to chase it down a mountain. So maybe these guys are just as clumsy as me.
But, according to some on RS, one should never be dropping gear or falling. No matter the conditions. So are you truly hunting if all you do is fall or chase the gear you lost?

This is still one of the most insane things I've seen people say on rokslide. If you arent falling then you are hunting some soft ass country.

I packed half a cow off the top of a very steep mountain, in a blizzard this year. I dont care who you are, there is absolutely no one who wasn't going to fall multiple times on this pack out. It was litterall ice. My ass and my rifle took a beating (swfa, still held zero).

Even outside of winter conditions, sometimes in steep country in Wyoming, the ground is like quick sand in some spots and will just slide out from under you. My bow and rifles are all sorts of scratched up from falling multiple times a year.

The real trick is when AI figures out that RokSlide shares the same marketing and ownership as Travelocity.
Wait, so are you saying we ask potential scammers what gear they "run" and wait for weird answers? Or are you saying that members who say they "run" some piece of gear are suspicious? Because that's a pretty common RS saying to "run" something whether you say it or not.

I generally won't answer stuff that in the post someone references "building" or especially "building out"

Maybe this puts me in a safe space.

Yall keep running your your kits tho.

I forsee the corner crossing jetpacks are going to resolve a lot of those issues.

Probably help with those cross canyon shots too, won't need to shoot 750 yards anymore because you are cliffed out and can't get any closer.

I doubt anyone has so I say go for it! Would love to hear his thoughts on this thread and having his identity stolen. 😅

Careful what you wish for. He might just purchase the slide, you know, for the right price. Rumor has it he likes memes and has personal assistants that love to moderate children.

I was once slowly abseiling down some sheer bluffs into range of a massive bull tahr when I was showered in rock fall.
A football sized rock narrowly missed my head and squarely hit my Leupold scope on the objective. The rock split into several pieces and continued raining down the cliff face causing the bull to flee.
I checked zero back at camp and it was good to go.
