I currently have been running Leica Trinovids for about 5 years and looking to upgrade.
I have a few questions as I’m looking for suggestions.

1) I whitetail hunt 99% in GA And go to Colorado elk hunting once a year. I have a 10x42‘s
and I’m wondering if an 8x42 wouldn’t be a better choice?
I also use them for target archery.
2) Are the NL pure‘s wort the extra $1,000? Or just get EL’s?

I haven’t used the NLs yet, but 8x42 ELs sound like a perfect fit for your purposes. I have 10x and 8x and actually use the 8x the vast majority of the time. In fact, I haven’t even taken my 10x along the last two trips I made to CO and WY. 8x and a spotter has worked great for me. They’re perfect in the timber when I hunt whitetails back home in PA or down here in the south too.

I really think you should try to get to a shop that has the different Swaro models available for you to try out
