Im looking to buy a pellet rifle for small game but there are so many out there.
looking to spend around $250.00 more or less
any advice would be appreciated
I've always had good luck with the old Benjamin Sheridan air rifles. I've had mine for nearly 30 years and killed hundreds of birds and squirrels with it. Plus it is not a spring load so it is not hard on scopes.
I second on skip the springers! They jerk mess up scopes, and are actually pretty loud. A good budget pcp would be a Benjamin Marauder in a .22 or .25 cal. You will smile with every shot!I'd recommend upping your budget a bit and getting a PCP gun, skip the springers unless you are really hard up for cash. Whole different ballgame in terms of low noise, accuracy, and being easy to shoot.
Check out some of these videos, they cover all different types
