I grabbed this R700 SPS Tactical in .243 with a 16.5” barrel from a LGS last Winter.
Threw a TT Special in it, a can and an SWFA 5-20 with a DNZ Tactical base. It’s sitting in a B&C Tactical stock with pillars I believe.
During my breakdown, then re-assembly of the rifle… The accuracy has taken a noticeable hit. As you’ll see, these groups are from 115 yards. I’ll get 2-3 good shots, then #4-5 are bad flyers.
2 different ammunition types- Federal 85gr TSX & Hornady Superformance 95gr SST’s.
Shots taken off bags with a 1.5# trigger. I’m normally good for about 1” for 5 at 100.
I’m thinking action screws aren’t tight enough?
Any other suggestions?
