Looking to get some feedback and hear people’s experiences with the Weatherby 307 rifles. I m looking at either the Range SF or Hush models in particular. To me they give me plenty of rifle for what I need, which is a hunting 500 and in rifle and capable plenty of range time for practice and learning. They come Cerakoted, run R700 accessories, and should be a little more user friendly when it comes to learning to work on my own rifles. They offer prefit barrels for them and the stock seems acceptable to start with. I have not seen one in person and do not know anyone that has/had one. Any feedback on them would be greatly appreciated.

The stock is pretty flimsy in the forend. But the limited feedback I have heard here on rokslide it sounds like they shoot ok.

I played with them at scheels and everyone I picked up had barrel contact on the left side of the forend. So be prepared to hog that out with a socket and sandpaper.

Had one. Good news is Scheels has a 30 day warranty.

I couldn’t find anything that it would shoot sub 2”. For end as mentioned is flimsy. Weatherby says that doesn’t impact accuracy.

Mine was a 6.5 meateater edition. Liked the features and price point. Didn’t like its lack of performance.
