Ive never had the opportunity to take one on snow... it's typically borderline too hot in southern WY.Two miles outside of Ringling with a pack on a BMA, it was dry. 2.1 miles for me last year. Could have driven to within a mile except for rain the night before. Never saw another person off the road.
Absolutely. Hit the same spot for muzzleloader this year but couldn't connect. I was still seeing 5x more antelope than my buddy. A little boot leather definitely changes the game.just another benefit of getting a little off the beaten path
