Lil help with ideas…

A stag/chamois combo hunt in the Austrian/Swiss Alps or French Pyrenees is my dream hunt. I think a lot of the outfitters have some glassing stands set up over promising meadows if you need a break from hiking. Relax in the evenings in some chateau drinking wine and eating cheese.......I might even bring my wife along lol. I know there are some stag hunts in more rolling terrain, mixed forest and pasture type habitats if mountains are totally out of the question. I just like the idea of hunting the animals in their native range vs an introduced place like NZ, not that I would turn my nose up at a NZ hunt if I was offered. Adding on a couple days before or after to tour a European city or two would also make for a really fun trip.

I did a stag hunt in Croatia this past fall and could not speak any higher of the experience. Mountain hunt and we did pretty well. I took a high bronze medal and brother in law took a non medal stag but tons of character. That would have been a great hunt for Dad. We hunted out of the lodge. You could hear them roaring from my porch. Unfortunately, I don’t really wanna do the same thing again.

I’m kind of thinking a short Africa trip would be fun.

If you would recommend that outfitter, I'd like to know who it was. I hope to do something like this in the next 5 years or so.
