Want an outdoor job in Idaho? Housing provided?? Have a class A CDL? Somewhat OK pay, sign on bonus, yearly retention bonus, yearly step increases, lots of comp time....hunt pretty much all you want? State job, great benefits??
I'm looking for a transportation technician to join our team in Lowman, Idaho. Great area and its a highway maintenance job/career with the Idaho Transportation Department. Plowing snow in the winter and during the summer we fix all the shit we broke in the winter. Kind of a unique opportunity with lots of equipment use, working with our avalanche team and you would be working for a really cool foreman.😉.
Housing is provided (manufactured home), it's a great place to live especially if you like the to work and live in the outdoors. I'll put the link up for the job posting. PM me if you are interested and have questions.

This is a great opportunity for a youngster who loves the outdoors. An excellent way to establish residency and to get into the state employee system as well. And to top it off, housing is provided, have to figure that into the compensation package. I came to Idaho from Kansas in 1974 when I was 19, and I'd have been all over this back then.

I would hope so. 19 an hour in 1974 is about the equivalent to 120 an hour today.
