Lightweight scope that won't break the bank

I need to scope a Kimber 84m hunter. Would like to keep the scope down on weight. Don't need a ton of power either. Realistically I won't shoot over 400. Was thinking a Leupold VX freedom in 3-9x40. Any other options out there to keep it lightweight and under $300? Some sort of BDC reticle would be nice but not needed.

You can get a Leupold VX-3i 2.5-8x36 on Bud's for under $330 if you "price match". Just have to log in and make the offer.

Only 11 ounces and tough and clear

SWFA ultra light 2.5-10. Bought one a couple months ago and seems to be great. And only 10 ounces!

I think I said TSS. I buy a lot of stuff from them and the competitor never seems to matter

i don’t think you can go wrong with any of the price point scopes available now. I think they are just about the same quality glass and function. It’s a very competitive market

I recently struggled with this. I ended up with the vx- 3 3.5-10 for my coyote gun and couldn’t be happier at the price point.
