I decided to see how light i could make a Tikka factory stock.
This stock was one that I had cut the butt stock short a few years ago for my boys. They are big now so I figured I'd hack this one up. The length of pull is about 12.75 in. A little bit too short, but it works..
First, I removed the butt pad and all of the innards in the buttstock. Then I hacked off the forestock back to the first lateral partition.
There's still too much meat on this thing. Then I cut Windows out of the butt and nearly the remainder of the forestock but left enough to where there'd be something to rest the gun on. I also took some material out of the grip underneath.
It's terribly short without a butt pad, so I made a therm-a-Rest butt pad, using one of the stock pieces as a spacer and, a duct tape cover.
Not bad!
I put my 6.5 cm into it to test it today.

140 match burners, h4350, at ~2500fps
I don't have a picture, But on the scale the all-in gun with the lightweight stock weighed 6 lb 12 oz.
Shooting it off the bench sucked because the lop is too short. I think if you leave the butt stock at factory length, it may only had half an ounce to an ounce. It is worth doing.
This gun shoots absolutely lights out and is usually no more than 1 in at 100 for 20 or 30 round shot groups. The two shots high and left were misses
