I currently utilize a Canon SX70 HS superzoom bridge camera as my alternative to a spotter for detection, filming, photos, etc. These are lightweight an small profile compared to almost any spotter, so I'm wondering if anyone would recommend a lightweight tripod that might be uniquely useful for this setup. Something stable of course, but light and small are huge requests.

Thanks.

the outdoorsman set up is pretty good and light but the center pole can be a touch short when sitting on lightweight stool as an example

Revic backpacker tripod is pretty solid. Nice and compact, pretty tall for its class, stable enough to shoot off.
