Lightest ball head?

I’m working on a light weight tripod setup but my current ballhead (promaster) is a whopping 11oz. Anybody know of a relatively cheap, light alternative? Needs to have a pan function, relatively smooth movement, and no play whatsoever. Thought about outdoorsman micropan but it’s too expensive to justify. My heaviest optic are my 15 binos. Thanks!

My Take; I've owned and used a couple small light ball heads...and they were functional for 10x binos but spotters and my heavy 15x60 zeiss....fuggetit.

I just haven't liked the small mini ball stuff for what we do. I had the cheap manfrotto on this link page- garbage. Heres a link to the light mini ball heads, Mini ball
A couple for $12...might be worth a shot on the Oben or Giottos.

I have a Sirui ball head link......a little over 1/2 pound inc. the slide release...but worth the weight, IMO.......Smooth/solid with my big binos- its a good one.

RRS (really right stuff) makes some very light and expensive ball heads. Around 5oz if I recall correctly. I'm unaware of anything light, cheap and quality.

Kinda like hot rods, you get 2 of these 3 options: fast, cheap, reliable.

Thanks! Those mini ones probably would not work well just looking at them. Having a separate pan is a must, I’ll look into that suriu one. The really right stuff looks nice but wayyyy out of my budget. The ounce saved per dollar ratio is not quite there for my budget..

Found a $25 amazon/Chinese ball head that has separate pan function and supposedly weighs 6oz. I’ll report back when it comes in..
