Light weight tarp options

Looking for recommendations on a light weight tarp to keep in my day pack for quick overnight stays away from base camp.

Seek Outside DST, Gunnison, or Colorado Tarp.

I use a Kifaru paratarp. I keep the tarp, some string, some lightweight ground stakes, and a small sheet of tyvek all in a nice little pull out pouch in my pack. Weighs almost nothing and is the best emergency shelter for when shit hits the fan with weather or get stuck out overnight away from camp.

Cant help with which US supplier but you guys have some great options as listed above. For size though - I had a local Aussie manufacturer (Tier Gear) make a 2.7x2.7m (9x9) silpoly tarp for me with a few extra tie out options at around 400g/14oz. Works great for solo bivvy, and would do 2 in a pinch.

Silex , pithes tight, better than a tarp IMO and can become a complete double wall shelter if need be.
