Leupold Mark 4 HD 6-24x52…drop test

I thought I’d give one last update on this since our rifle hunts are all but over. Since the last update this scope has been used to harvest an elk, another mule deer and 2 wolves at ~310-600 yards. Hoping to get out after more wolves this winter but will likely be a bit before that happens. I have not changed or moved anything on this rifle setup since setting it up early this summer. It has genuinely surprised me, if for no other reason than reading on here how unreliable Leupold scopes are. This thing has been rode hard and put away wet as they say, I cannot say I have 3k rounds on it but I know for sure I’m north of 2k between the 6.5 and GT. Time will tell if it will fail in the near future.

What scope rings are you using? Are they Area 419?

How has the scope been, reliability-wise? I am looking at getting a new scope and this one intrigues me on being a solid option.
I have not had any issues, scope has been bounced between my hunting rifle and competition rifles and after initial zero’ing I haven’t noted any shifts. Used this same scope at a match this weekend on a 16lb rifle and all went well. I have since bought another but it hasn’t seen near as much use as the original.
