Anyone use this scope? Thinking about putting one on my Savage M11 Lightweight Hunter in 7mm-08. Will be using in Colorado for deer and elk.

My typical shot at elk is 150 yards, so I figure why not go with a low-power fixed scope. Pretty lightweight too at 6.5 oz.

Pretty lightweight?

I'll say so. It's a feather.

Although I haven't used that particular scope, low fixed-power scopes typically perform very well, and the FX-2 line is a good one.

I've got one on my .22.... just a great scope.

Don't underestimate the 2.5x either. I shot my last whitetail with a .308 Scout sporting a 2.5x IER Leupold at near 250 yards.
