Let’s Talk Watches

I have been super impressed with Citizen.
Picked this up for ~$300 around Christmas. It's an AW1840-50E

Grade 2 titanium, sapphire, solar powered, great lume. Not a true diver as the bezel is bidirectional friction, but it hasn't moved on me unless I want it to regardless of hiking or working. Looking at their line this was somewhat of a trade-off for the sword hands, which I prefer.

Garrison super ti. Those are nice watches for the money. Last spring Amazon messed up on a bunch and sold the orange dial ones for like 89 bucks.

I almost bought the model ya have but I’m anti blue lol. It’s my least favorite color so never buy anything with it. That’s a great looking watch though!

Pelagos 39 is my beater adventure watch. Every time I’m not in the office, it’s on. Just spent a week fishing, diving, and drinking in the Bahamas. Watch right at home.

Anyone with an explorer 2 think it’ll be too big on my 6.5”-6.75” wrist? Been wanting one forever.

The modern one yes, I have a 7 inch wrist and have tried it not once, but twice lol. It’s a 42 mm but wears like a 43-44mm imo.

Now the older 16570 wears amazing for a 40mm, they are gaining a ton of popularity and rising in price. I sold my white dial a few years ago since it had the cyclops. Should have just replaced the crystal or had it sanded off.

This one came in, Berny, MIYOTA 8215 AUTOMATIC, Titanium case, Canvas strap with Ti buckles, lume, date, Sapphire crystal.

The hands and numbers are easy to see. I like it, for $100

Luminox has some less expensive but tough watches, I have had two and they are pretty solid. Currently wear a Luminox pacific diver with pearl face every day. Was roughly $500 and been really impressed with how its held up as I am tough on my watches. Plus they makes you feel like a navy seal, apparently.
