I picked up a Nixon today for cheap and ordered a nato band for it. My favorite color is orange, can you tell ?

Hardlex crystal though. Super easy to scratch. I’ve tried numerous seikos and it sucks having to replace the crystals in them since that voids the warranty, like eveything about them besides the terrible crystals they use.

For the op and amount of money not much is gunna touch an orient for 250 bucks!

Timex makes some nice looking watches like the Marlin but they have acrylic crystals. Bummer I wanted the Marlin

Buy a traska if you like this design. Their watches are very very nice and well built. One of the better micros for sure. I would own one in a heartbeat. Really like thier gmt model.

Bertucci makes some cool field watches. I was looking at them but ultimately went with the Marathon GPQ-D with Tritium. Not even a watch guy but I wanted something durable, nice, and functional.

One of my og automatics. Beat the living piss outta this thing haha. I lost it in Wyoming mule deer hunting, found it the next year on the ridge where I fell. Picked it up and braclet was shot,hollow end links busted. Watch fired right up just shaking it. I serviced it and checked everything. Good as new!

Put a strap code on it and rock it from time to time, my explorer is getting serviced and it’s the last Rolex I have since I sold my spare.

Really consolidating everything but did order a Citizen BN0261-51E. Once I saw that was released last summer I knew I would buy one.

Have a feeling that’s gunna be a top
contender for one of the best dive watches under 500. Got it for 300ish brand new from citizen so really good comparison to the orient and in the price point op is looking at.

I will updated once I get it in hand and make a fair shake of it.
