Mtn bike for hunting

Hey man, if you want feel free to DM me, I spent over a decade working in the bike industry for a reputable company, when I left I was running a demo fleet program for them, was their main wheel builder and in house suspension tech on top of being a general mechanic that could jump on the sales floor if needed. Always down to talk bikes and steer people in the right direction.

Man, bikes are the best, for those of us who don't want to feed a horse or llama all year. I've packed out several elk and deer on an old Specialized mountain bike, with front and rear racks, up to 4 miles, lashing game bags to racks like panniers. Unlike a game cart or sled, you can (carefully) coast the rig on downhills. Every little bit of weight off your torso helps.

I bought a fat tire E-bike a few years ago. Super fun to ride on open trails. Actually not as useful for hunting and packing in my area due to trail restrictions (they are considered motorized by several agencies) but with disk brakes and fat tires they make great carts even in nonmotorized zones.

Anyway, a tool to get that meat off the mountain with dirtbag style. Maholo.

Yeap, the agency's are wising up to the word "motorized" and human powered. I see so called mountain bikes everywhere now, just a electric moto cross LOL.
