What do all you people out there wear for underwear on a daily basis and for hunting? Boxer shorts? Boxer briefs? Regular briefs? Commando?

I currently am a boxer short guy but thinking about switching it up and going to boxer briefs of some sort. What are good brands people like? I just don’t like the bunching effect with the brands I’ve previously tried. I got bigger thighs and a smaller waist so it is hard to find the right combo

I’ve heard a lot of good about Duluth trading company’s buck naked boxer briefs.

The first lite Dobson aerowool work for me. Some people say too long but it helps them from riding up. I’m 5’10/207/30” waist for comparison and have the same problem. Most hunting pants fit like skinny jeans.

I have a few pair of Core 4's 100% merino boxer briefs before they went to a 50/50 mix. Those are used only for hunting season. The rest of the year I wear regular boxer briefs.

Whatever you’re comfortable in and wear on a daily basis. Specific expensive underwear for hunting, backpacking etc has been a big fat waste of money for me. Hanes boxers that I wear everyday work just fine for me!

I’m not talking “just for hunting” underwear I’m talking about a switch in everyday life too. But yes I agree, whatever is most comfortable is what is best!

Heck, if Core 4 still made their boxers in 100% merino, I'd wear them every day as well and would have 20 pair. They are the most comfortable underwear I've worn. But since they are very limited in number and are no longer in existence these days.......I limit their use to only hunting when I'll be wearing the same pair for a week.

I have half a dozen pair of the sitka light weight boxer breifs that i use for every day wear. I also have a bunch of buck naked boxer breifs from Duluth tradding. Those two are my go too underwear.

REI brand boxer briefs have been the best for me. I love merino but not for boxer briefs. The REI ones are great for regular life and hunting/hiking/fishing

I go commando however, when I am hunting, hiking or training I where the Exoficcio. TBarron is spot on in his review; I will had that the Exoficcio boxer briefs hold up very well. I bought seven pair at the same about three years ago and all of them are holding up very well. They are expensive but worth the money

Jockey brand synthetic boxer briefs from walmart. $11 for 2. Comfortable. Breathe well and dry fast. I have not noticed any odor on extended hunts. Merino gets out performed by synthetic in texas heat and humidity.

I have used exofficio boxer breifs for years for everyday. I used UA for sports but exofficio has tighten up their fit to the point I am indifferent. I still have some UA boxer breifs but use them interchangeably.

I under some me undies. Comfortable to wear but they don’t breath as well and I get a bit of the swamp ass after sitting at the office for a long day. Won’t be ordering any more.

Regular cotton briefs are the best I've found for everyday use and hunting.

Cotton absorbs sweat and stays WET for days. That's horrible for any activity, let alone hunting when you're out there for days on end.

I've tried the Ex-officio as well and now understand where the term "swamp ***" comes from. Never again. Merino is the only option IMO.

Try wearing your cotton boxers for 4-5 days in the mountains and give them a big old sniff and let me know how that works out for you! Haha

Take your pick, as long as it’s merino. For underwear you wash every time you wear them...it doesn’t really matter.
