I have the Hornady. Super easy to adjust, and you don't have to hold the brass with your fingers. Not super familiar with the other options, but I doubt they could be any better.

I've waited on the sidelines prepping to purchase a premium trimmer for several years now, any reason NOT to purchase the Hornady unit?

I mentioned it above, the spring loaded plunger thing in the bushing is sloppy.

Just a Lyman that is stuck to my workbench with a c clamp. Never felt like I needed much more.

The Hornady is professionally built and engineered. The Giraud is a garage engineered Franken – contraption.

I used to use that same trimmer. But it would tire my hands out after doing 100-200 piece of brass

The only reason I can think of was mentioned above, claims that they ripped it off from the (I think) Henderson. I don't care about that and the value delivered to customers by Hornady wins imo. I think I got mine for $550 and that's with all the pilots needed.

Primary reason is trimming, chamfering, and deburing are in 3 steps rather than 1 if i'm not mistaken. Seems like a nice option if you're ok with taking significantly longer than a 3-in-1 setup.

I'd not trim altogether before I ever went back to 3 separate steps
