Let's See Your Semi-Custom Tikka Builds

Finally got on the RokStok Train. Found one secondhand here in the classifieds. Still not in love with the looks. Damn they shoot and control recoil very very well though. Tikka super light barrel cut down to 18” in 6.5 CM with an SWFA 3-9 on top in TPS rings. AB Raptor 8 Stack helping quiet things down. Put some 120 ELD M hand loads together for it in Peterson brass filled with Ramshot Hunter. Once I got it zeroed and some chrono info took it straight to the 600 yd gong. Went 8 for 8 in semi gusty conditions. Maybe most accurate rifle I’ve got…

Manners LRH-TK, proof 6.5 CM 24", Athlon Cronos ETR G2 4.5-30x56, and a few other odds and ends. MDT Mountain bipod in back order so just running a Warne that I have for now. 9lbs 8oz. Gonna run the first rounds through it next week.

Tikka 22-250 I have also posted a few times, at 665 yards this morning prone with a rear bag. One bad wind hold but this rifle really came alive with another Stockys VG and some Lapua brass. 88 ELDM at just shy of 3k are filthy.

Last zeroing groups on my twin 6 CM and 22-250

Final form now that the stock has been textured and made beautiful. Love this thing.

T3X 300WM (currently shooting factory Norma Bondstike)
Zeiss V4 4-16x44 (Exposed elevation turret)
Seekins Precision rings,
Mountain Tactical rail
Grayboe Phoenix 2
Monstrum Bubble level
Banish Backcountry

I'd like to upgrade bottom metal next.

I think the PR Precision stainless steel bottom metal looks great with a stainless barrel.

This might be a stupid question but are you able to seat out the eldms longer in the 22-250? I’ve only ever loaded vmaxs and they hit lands pretty damn quick. I have a 1:9 bartlein and have thought about messing with some heavier/higher BC bullets but I figured this be jammed way the hell down into the case.

In the “M” Tikka mags you’ve got 2.8” of COAL latitude to play with and that’s far more than enough room for the 250 case and 88s. My COAL on this load is like 2.650”…

Had the bolt milled and DLC coated

Think it all came together nicely
