Let's See Your Semi-Custom Tikka Builds

Guys who have cut their 22 inch barrels down to 16-17 inches about how much weight can I expect to lose?

My first time putting a rifle together after many years of buying custom or barreled actions. Got a used 300wsm T3X action, a lightly used 20" 6.5PRC PBB prefit, KRG Echo on black friday, trigger spring, Area419 20moa rail and an HCA tikka mag. 9lbs 9oz with suppressor attached. Going to go shoot it today.

That is pretty light. What do you figure that barrel weight was? Was there a reason you went echo instead of bravo?

I don't know about the barrel weight, I think it was the tikka hybrid contour plus the fluting and only being 20" its not too heavy. The Echo is lighter than the Bravo and accepts tikka mags.

Finished this up in November, it was a 6.5CM TAC A1 for a few years. I pulled the barreled action, sold the chassis and barrel, and ordered a 20" PVA 6.5CM prefit and McMillan ELR hunter. First 3 shots after initial barrel break in rounds. This was a handloads for the old 24" factory 1 in 8 barrel, I haven't started load development for this barrel yet.

I'm working on a 7 SAUM build now no pics of it yet however.
