What's the point of weighing a rifle with no bolt or mag?

Just saw a video with a tikka. Theyve got an extended and cantilevered bolt handle. Chassis is 4#. stout. But would actually be a good weight for NRL open heavy i think.

Looks like the varmint stock. They had a fixed cheek riser and standard bottom metal.

It’s what comes on the Peak 44 stocks; pictured is the Blacktooth model. It’s a 3D printed pad. Feels kind of hard to the touch, but I shot my BIL’s Mark V 257 Weatherby with factory stock and the Peak 44 Bastion I put on it and I noticed the recoil pad worked better than factory.

I have not shot my 6.5cm pictured with the new stock yet. Just haven’t made it out with kid activities taking up the weekends. But after shooting the aforementioned unsuppressed 257, I’m confident it will work well enough. The 6.5 came out right at 7.5lbs as pictured.

I had a stockys on there before and prefer the ergos of the Blacktooth. Plus I installed a Spartan QD adapter in front of the sling swivel which is a much nicer solution than I had before.

You're both correct. I stole it from a CTR stock but its also the same as the Varmint stock.

Thanks for the response. I’m running a stocky’s now on all of my Tikkas. I really like the appearance of the ergos on the Blacktooth.
