I stalked this one a few years ago. Young nanny, I could of speared it on top of the spire I scaled. The goats below were all nanny and kids so I thought it might of been a billy way above. All I could see was hair behind a rock up there and got a little closer.

Beautiful pictures I would feel lucky too shoot any of those billies this year... I just found out I drew chowder ridge this year and ur photos just got me so pumped up...

I'd call that an old Nanny with two Bilies. Those little guys are the best eating wild game! They are perfect for a solo backpacker too.
 
Yes indeed! They are some good eaters. Two young bucks and a "cougar", I like their style :)
 
Horsepower,

I think she was about 10 yards. She started to weave her head back and forth and I thought I was in trouble. I don't know if she saw me, but my dog, who was napping, stood up with hair standing up on his back and that is what kept her from walking over me. Very cool and the light was about perfect. Wilderness goats.
