Let's see your mountain goat pics!

I recall seeing this one, along with a few others I think? Love the colour in the shot!!

I just picked up a cam’s I had left out since last nov, only 1 worked tho lol. I set up 2 more for this springs kid hatch, hope it’s a bumper crop like it was last year.

I’ve got a bunch from 2020 that are pretty good, I’ll post a few later today

Decker what’s the deal with that location? Why do they love that spot so much? Pretty sweet videos and pics

That spot, Iv packed salt to a few times, the goats go nuts over it. The area is pretty unique in the amount of goats for the small area, most locals don’t even know there’s goat there lol. Most Iv gotten in one frame has been 18.

A few more randoms for mountaingoatmonday!

My guess is it’s climbing a tree.

Maybe to get at something that’s on the bark?

You are correct sir, he’s knocking down the moss/lichen on the tree. At first I thought he was playing bc I get a lot of goats running around chasing each other, but when I looked at all the photos I could see the moss on the snow. He’d then come back and eat it. Just thought it was a funny looking pic.

From this weekend's scouting. Taken through a Kowa 773 on a POS iPhone 5. Happy with how they came out and the biologist says he is a healthy 3.5 year old.

Great shots!! I’m quite impressed with the kowa spotters. I was comparing one to my ats earlier this summer, I much preferred the kowa.

A very healthy 3 year old indeed!! Great horn growth for his age.

I went from a kowa 773 to the 88mm version. It’s incredible.
