To not make the PF requirement in the open divisions, it has to be factory ammo 6.5mm and a 130 grain bullet or larger. So, with your 6 creed, even though you are shooting factory ammo, you wouldn't be able to shoot for score.

You are absolutely correct. Hopefully the 6.5 barrel I spin on shoots as well as that 6 creed. That thing is a lazer.

To the best of my knowledge if you shoot factory ammo you don’t have to make power factor. If that is not the case I have a 6.5 cm cf barrel I can spin on.

c. There is no minimum Power Factor (PF) for the Factory division, however the Factory Division hunter’s PF will be used in the case of a tiebreaker. Factory rifles chambered in 6mm/.243 or greater, with a cartridge overall length of 2.700″ or greater (per SAAMI-ANSI Max cartridge length standards), with a maximum muzzle velocity of 3275, will be allowed only in the Factory Division.

Don’t have many pics of mine, both are factory barreled ctr’s. One 20” the other 24”, both deep spiral fluted by Kampfeld. XLR Element 4.0s UM Tikka rings, 6-24 Leupold Mark 4HD’s.

This my production rifle for sub 12 pounds. Bergara Approach, Vortex Viper (will be changing) and I use the Spartan bipod. It started as a fun 6.5 plinker that hunt a few spots on the farm with. Did great in competition ringing steel at 1,000.

IMO watch some YouTube videos of matches and stages to get the idea. Do dry runs In Your house of getting your gear deployed. From walking up and putting the rifle and pack down to glassing kneeling and standing and dry firing your rifle. Then just do open heavy, At least set yourself up to walk the table. From the looks your rifle won’t hold you back, short bipod might but that’s what tripods are for.

Shot this 6.5CM at my one and only NRL match in Alaska this year. Planning on trying to make a Hunter Games match in Texas in December. Would like to get some load dev done with 153s for that much. Shot Eagle Eye Berger 140s in Alaska.

Started life as a T3 300wsm Stainless. Swapped bolts for a standard bolt face and wears a factory 20" CTR 6.5cm barrel with an APA brake. Leupy Mark 5 being loaned to me. Will be switching to a fixed 10x SWFA some, time this month.

People complain about Tikka barrels being slow, but this one launches 140 ELDMs at 2640fps with a basic 40.0 grains of H4350 loaded to factory OAL.

This gun will be used for PRS as well as NRL Hunter next season. There also might be a video series about using this one barreled action for both competition as well as hunting, switching between a KRG Echo for hunting and the X Ray for competition, and how swapping Chassis affects Zero.

Thanks! Chassis is a Grey Birch 700 folding chassis with their bag rider. Weight on my kitchen scale with an MDT 10rd steel mag is 9lbs 7oz, but at some point I’m going to take it to my wife’s vet clinic and get a more accurate weight.

Are you planning on shooting Skills Division, or using factory ammo? If not, how are you going to make power factor (2714 fps minimum with 140's)? I went with a 24" to address that.

To be honest I dont know. I'll be competing in the beginner class wherever I do shoot. Ill shoot most of the WPR matches.

My good friend and mentor into long range happens to be one of the best PRS (if not the best) PRS shooter in the country. Im welcome to shoot one of his rifles if necessary.

I believe it will be C class for the WPR matches. Or if I remember correctly I will shoot "open" and be placed in a class based on my score.
