I’ve been looking around and for $550 I can get a grayboe trekker which is about the same weight as the xlr magnesium. With that contour of barrel do you see your groups opening up after an NRL hunter course of fire? Also, did you have to do anything special when adding the muzzle break since the barrel is pretty thin?
I haven't ever seen one of those in person yet. No my groups don't open up the barrel shoots consistent 4-5 shot fist size groups at 500 yards in the summer so it works from me. I placed 2nd in open light last year with it also. Its threaded 1/2"-28 so just have to have one that fits that is all. The seekins NR2 is a pretty thin profile too and people seem to do good with that as well. Just keep it cooled down between stages.

What do you do to keep your barrel cool? Also, do you know how much your barrel weighs without the break on?

Running my AI this year. 15lb 14.8 oz as she sits. I’ll bring a plastic bag rider with me just in case their scale isn’t calibrated

@Mhahn2 Just in front of the mag well. Sits by itself on a bag without any tilt with bipod on. Dropped over 7 lbs from her normal config!
