How does it shoot? I’m looking at building a rifle for NRL Hunter. I was thinking Bighorn TL3 or Origin with proof pre fit and hnt26. I’m wondering if I’d be better off having a proof chambered by a smith though?

Prefits I have bought from Proof, Preferred, Criterion, and Shillen have all shot very well.

Havak hit pro 6.5, SRS ti brake, nx8 4-32 mil xt, nf rings, vortex level.

Want to find a bipod with 19.4 oz to spare. The scale pic is rifle, scope setup, brake.

The Harris is fine I just know I ran into issues last year at Cody with the up hill stuff and had to go tripod instead of just raising a bipod taller. It's not that big of a deal I don't mind shooting tripod but it sure saves time just making legs longer vs deploying a tripod.

Thinking atlas cal bt69, any opinions?

What you running for powder to get those speeds? Or is it a 26in barrel?

Ended up with a warne skyline lite. So far so good, I had to lube the pivots today the dust had built up and one leg wouldn't unlock to deploy. only issue I had with it so far has been solid for a few hundred rds.

24” factory. Loaded very long (~2.94”) w/superformance. Get same with RL26 too.

Goes higher but backed off to match partners speed.

Will that make the power factor?
Never did the math but probably not. As @wind gypsy pointed out, I would be using factory ammo. Also planned on being in the skills (I think this is what it’s called) division so no real restrictions and no points kept. I’d just like to shoot one.

But, I’ve since sold that rifle. So now it would be a 223 American in the same stock. Probably same scope.

A Tikka factory action is light and hard to beat feel wise. Also as long as you stick to a short action capable caliber i.e. 6.5 creed for NRL you have a bunch of excellent chassis options from all the big names. Long action not so much as I've found out haha.
