Let's have a general winter thread.

I'm spending an hour or so most evenings working on a muzzleloader from a Traditions kit. It's something I have wanted to do for awhile. I'm trying to put the time in on it that it needs with no shortcuts.

I'll try to post some pictures later.

Looks like we may get some snow this weekend, which sometimes means I get to help a buddy with snow removal.

You get those drivers off the fill side, that’s a whole new level of stuck!🤣

My best one was in a 12F. Blade all the way up and your still pushin a fair bit of snow, just tryin to get to the top of the hill. Ass kicked over on me and bigazz tree right behind me..I was done. No articulation, and only a few shear pins on hand... Wish I had pics of that one. I shoveled a stupid amount of snow that afternoon/evening:rolleyes:

Then they gimmee this space ship. Stupid stuff still happened but at least I had a radio and windshield wipers

Looks like your running out of room to stack that stuff!

Dude :ROFLMAO: Tryin to cut slope with snow is interesting. Worked pretty good in places though. Never had to to that before.

It was just a tunnel at the end. Either big cut banks or trees up close. Lot of snow, and not much extra time to get creative with where you put it.... Everybody was getting a bit grumpy. Fun looking back on it..

I Fing hate winter!
I’ll take the cold over snow any day.
Luckily ours are mild for the region, (SE Ohio / western WV). Usually get a real snow every few years, 4-8 inches. Other than that numerous “skiffs” to an inch or two.
In the same week it can be 10 Monday and 70 Friday.
Our dog loves to chase snow flakes though.

Pumpkin spice lattes and Carhartts gets me through the season .

Just kidding another month of birds, oryx hunt, and then fishing.

It's been a little cold here up until a few days ago. We made out out showing once.

This is always my heavy work travel season. I generally like being out in the cold other than some raynauds in my hands. Been doing some hiking etc. Ive been kind of bored with ice fishing in recent years. Swapping some gun barrels and optics.
