I would build her a super light AR in 6ARC. The adjustable stock really helps.
I have to weigh my son’s rig again, but I thinks it’s 6lbs or less with can and glass. He was 10 here and carried it around no issue.
If interested, let me know and I can go through the build specs.
I have a few people reach out about build specs on this rifle, so I figured I would post it here.
1) Fostech magnesium lower receiver
2) Aero (I think) “slick side” (no forward assist, no shell deflector” upper receiver
3) V7 small parts - everything they offer
4) 10” V7 magnesium handguard with Ti bolts
5) SLR Rifleworks Ti adjustable gas block
6) DSA aluminum bolt carrier w/BCM bolt and parts
7) Taccom low mass buffer system
8) Smoke composites carbon buffer tube
9) MFT minimalist stock
10) Magpul K grip
11) RRA 2 stage trigger
12) Leupold VXr 2-7 ballistic firedot (not made anymore)
13) aero precision ultralight 30mm mount
14) V7 charging handle
15) 6.25*x1.5” Form 1 suppressor built by me with Ti direct thread adapter, Ti tube and 17-4 baffles (11oz total)

17) Spartan key mod bipod adapter
18) BCM key mod QD sling mount
19) blue force gear padded sling

5lbs, 15oz with everything above. Zero recoil, easy for kids to carry and stable to shoot, adjustable LOP and semi auto unlike the “ultra ultra light” straight pull AR’s people are building.
