Camp from this weekends trip. 7 miles to the spot. There was a moose with two calves in the spot we originally intended to set up.
Ended up leading us to a perfect location.

Last September, I like this hammock thing, at least in warm weather.

This was the perfect application for a hammock too. Totally grown in area. Bottom of an Aspen belt .

Camp photos from a father and son moose hunt a few weeks ago...remote fly-in hunt, landing on tundra, weight restrictions, and a very basic camp. We brought our own gear...each had a Hilleberg Staika that we used solo and a SO 4-man tipi for our day shelter.

Moose all around us and coming to our calls...lots of fun watching moose behavior. Just a few examples...




...and my son took a nice bull (camp is visible just over his head)...
