This is a black orca smokey hut...yes found on amazon and made by onetigres.....surprisingly I have found no reason to upgrade yet. I use an 18" liteoutdoors cylinder stove in it

have you used these in rain or snow conditions? they look sweet but look like they may fail in weather?

Memorial Day in Idaho

on our last snowshoeing trip we decided to take one early day and chill a wee bit

Idaho backcountry with a nice opening day buck my hunting partner killed. The Kifaru Sawtooth paired with the wood stove was a game changer on our 8 day hunt. We totally lucked out on weather though, no rain or snow in 8 days. Just freezing temps at night and wind. Loved being able to stand up in a warm shelter to get dressed in the dark.

all was well until 3:00 AM when it started raining; the miniature tarp was thrown in at the last minute- thankfully!
