LEM VS MEAT YOUR MAKER

How'd I miss this originally. Dual grind is freaking sweet, will never go back. My #12 lem eats an elk and 3-5 deer a year. Anything that size or bigger is going to work well.

Thanks guys. I think dual grind is the way to go for me. My wife doesn’t like the large chunks in coarse.

I’ll have to figure out the nuances once I get it.

Now, I just need to decide on MEAT vs LEM 100%

I did chat with Scheels and asked if they would match manufacturer prices, and they made it sound like they would.

Outside of Black Friday, are there any regular sales at LEM or MEAT?

The best deals I found on LEM was to signup for notifications and wait for a refurb sale to show up. Sometimes they’ll throw out a 12 hour only deal and if you’re lucky with free shipping. I haven’t been following it so I’m not sure if they still do those but that was by far the best pricing. If they do one of those jump on it quick because they can sell out before the time runs out. I missed one because I waited until I got home and it was too late. Luckily it came back around but I had to wait awhile. BTW all of the refurb stuff I bought was new. It all looked like unused returns where just the packaging was beat up. They do run regular sales often so sign up and see what comes down the pike.

Been using a 1/3hp LEM for over a decade 1-2 elk and 4-5 deer a year without a hiccup.

Two passes through the coarse plate makes great burger
