Leica Apo Televid 77mm

Anyone here used this spotting scope and how does it rate again Swarovski, Kowa?

In it's day it was an excellent scope. Their new APO-82 is more on par with the current Kowa and Swaro, however, the 77 is a darn good scope and can probably be found in the used market at a fair price

It is a Very robust scope that you will not be disappointed with!

That was a GREAT deal and is still completely under warranty against any future manufacturers defects that by chance come up. Don't let chatter fool you, Leica's warranty is completely transferable in the US these days!

You will love it. That scope was a game changer for me and will outperform much if not the majority on the market today!

I will have one of these before too long. I have the 62mm with fixed 26x wide angle eyepiece. The 77mm with variable eyepiece for closer to the truck should compliment it well.
