Leica 2800.com EHR Question

Recently picked up a Leica 2800.com. Seems like it works similar to my 1600b in that it will only display EHR with a ballistic curve set. It all seems to utilize the atmospherics (temp/pressure) calculated at the unit to influence your EHR reading. I would prefer just to use the Hornandy app and input these myself and make a dope card for the rifle. Anyone have any insight into this. I spoke to a rep from Leica and he said the 2800 would give basic EHR without the temp/pressure influence. I live at 800ft where there it always seems to be 80-90 degrees and hunt at 8-9k where it’s close to freezing. I want to eliminate as many variables as possible.

Sorry, can't help answer your question, but I am interested in your thoughts on your Leica 2800.com. I'm in the market for a good rangefinder and saw this on sale for a good price. Thanks much!

It doesn’t look like he’s been logged on here in a couple of months but @catorres1 was really knowledgeable in helping me get my 2800.com setup. I’ve been really happy with that rangefinder.
