Has anyone used any of the Lehigh Defense extreme defender/hunter or extreme penetrator bullets on game? I've only seen videos of them hitting various media and the wound channels are impressive but I've never heard of them used on game by anyone I know or on forums. I'm wondering what kind of terminal performance people have got on big game. I just received 2 boxes of the 150 grain extreme hunter 10mm loads and they look pretty mean. I hope to take my pistol out this weekend when firearms deer comes back in in Ohio.

Following - I just picked up a sig 220 hunter for deer next year. Those and the buffalo bore tac-xp. are kinda on the top of the list to try.

Well if I put one through a ribcage this weekend, I'll report back. I'm a huge fan of Barnes and I'll definitely be trying their 155 grain Tac XP as well, but if I were going to buy loaded ammo, I'd buy the Double Tap load over Buffalo Bore. Nothing against BB, they make awesome ammo, but they don't load the 10mm Barnes load super hot like they used to. I think they were advertising 1500 fps, but now all the barnes loads are loaded to like 1100 or 1200 fps. Double Tap still loads to 1400 FPS and these Underwood loads are advertised 1425! I have shot their 220 grain hard cast load and it reaches their advertised 1200 FPS in my 6" barrel in my Glock 20, so I'm expecting them to be right around advertised velocity. If the youtube vids I've seen going through gel, clay, and fruit are representative of deer lungs, I think it'll be a good hunting load.

Unfortunately I have no updates for performance on deer. The extended gun season in Ohio is only 2 days, and yesterday it rained hard all day. I've got 3 in the freezer already so I didn't go brave the storm. I did get out today, but no deer were seen. A couple friends and I are thinking about doing a pig hunt during late winter or spring, and if we do I'll be bringing my 10mm and I'd like to test several different bullets (So if you know a place were a guy can go shoot a few meat hogs that isn't too expensive, let me know!). I'd like to test the 150 grain Extreme Hunter loaded by Underwood, the Barnes 155 grain Tac XP either in handloads or by Double Tap, and some hand loaded Cutting Edge Bullets 190 grain HG Solids.
