Anyone have either, then switch to the other and notice any difference? I’ve had Lathrop for about 4 yrs and still have some sore spots( probably need new ones by now) Not expecting to have no pain but thinking about switching to SF. I tried to get my wife some a couple years ago and the customer service was non existent for about 2 weeks after I ordered the foam imprints that came smashed from shipping so I kinda blew them off since you can call L&S and talk to the owners 1st call. Anyone have similar experience w/ SF or have they gotten better? Any insight appreciated

I’ve had both. L&S are a non custom basic gel insole with no arch support. For mine, the arch support consisted of a thin rubber piece sloppily glued to the bottom and started peeling off after light use. I don’t see the point of them with similar products available much cheaper.

Sheep feet are way better IMO in customization, materials, and arch support. They’ve solved several issues for me. They now have a new scan process that can be used instead of the foam impressions. I’ve used both. When they first rolled out the scan, I think they switched to some 3D printing and a pair were not quite right for me. They replaced them no questions asked. I’ve ordered more since and the quality was good. You can also get the top cushion layer replace at a lower cost than a new pair. If you need arch support but are not used to insoles with it, it does take a short time to get your feet used to it and they may be a bit sore after initial use. The arch support has several benefits IMO.

I’ve also tried superfeet, sole cork, and sofsole. Superfeet trailblazer are decent for non custom. Sofsole are good for a cheaper non custom gel type insole.

Funny you say that; I felt like they (L&S) were just normal gel inserts also. And mine are the same, with the glued on piece for arch support. Great customer service but wasn't sure if product is worth the $. Only way too find out is to try others... Thanks for you opinion.

I've had good luck with L&S inserts even though I'm not sold on everything else they sell. A hiking boot usually has some arch support built into it. If I take an insole that works good in my tennis shoes, it is too much in my hiking boot. The L&S insole is usually cut wider than your foot where your arch is and kinda wraps up the side of your hiking boot giving you some arch support. If you put it in a tennis shoe it doesn't work the same. I have pretty high arches and it seems to work good for me. I have not tried sheepfeet.
