Honest review on my custom Lathrop & Sons boots.
First, let me start by saying I have jacked up feet and ankles, and I’ve tried Crispi and Kenetrek boots before but they were far from ideal.
About a month ago I bit the bullet and reached out to Lathrop, James talked me through the entire process and I ordered my 3D Mapping kit. I received that in about a week and completed it and retired it. Within a week, James called me and spent almost an hour on the phone going through my problems and what they would build me to help. I went ahead and ordered my boots and orthotics.
About two weeks went by and I received my new boots and completed the steps listed and submitted the required pictures. James called me the next day to go through my post consultation and next steps.
Today marks the 4th I’ve been wearing them nearly the entire day around the house. I must say, these are the most comfortable pair of boots I’ve ever owned. I finally feel like I have the right arch support my feet need, as well as the right ankle support that other boots have lacked in the past.
Tomorrow, I’ll clean and wax these boots and then I’ll start putting some miles on them with the heavy pack, but based off my initial impression, these will be nothing short of amazing boots.
