So what would you guys Reccomend for arrow set up to reach at least 400 grains with an FOC of 11-13% with a 26.5 draw length?
I think this is good advice here. Good arrow and setupI run an Easton Carbon Injexion 330 at 27" with a 4" wrap, 3 Blazer vanes, and a 100 grain head. Weighs right at 420gr with 11% FOC. I shoot this out of a 27/70 Hoyt CS Turbo ZT. Tunes and shoots great.
There's nothing saying you have to cut your arrows as short as possible. Like others said you can leave them long. 27 inches is at least 1.5 inches longer than you need, but softens up the spine a bit to allow you a heavier arrow.I kind of feel like I'm almost at a disadvantage with such a short draw length
